The parents, husband and six children of Varter Bogigian

Varter is born in 1885 in western Armenia.

At the start of the genocide, she is married and the mother of 5 (almost 6) children.

In early June 1915, Turkish police arrest her husband Mugrditch Nazarian. He does not return.

Soon after, during the forced deportation, all her children are killed by violence.
